This book is very philosophical, mythical and funny as well. It tells a story of a recently bitten guy who became a vampire and has to learn the way of a vampire. It describes how the mythical creatures are ruling secretly over the world by keeping the minds of people busy with two topics: Glamour and Debate
I love this book because it pictures a world which is full of unknown and hidden secrets.
Based on a true story it tells an incredible life. The life of a man who was punished for murder, although he was innocent. He spent decades in prison far from home on the other side of the world and tried to flee from prison countless times. Henri describes his thoughts while in prison and even tells the story of being imprisoned isolated for more than a year, how he found love in a native tribe and left them it to seek for justice and unfortunately got imprisoned again.
This book taught me that freedom is within myself.

Wow! Just wow! This series does include 7 volumes which means almost 7.000 pages of story which took King over 30 years to finish. This story does have everything!
Actually not just this book from him, but any book he wrote. Every single book he wrote is an amazing journey through philosophical and ethical questions combined with the fancy science fiction.

This heartbreaking story of a man who refused to bow down to a tyrant lost his love because of him taught me that you should never give up and a single man can change so many lives around him to the better.
This is one of the movies which taught me to be afraid as hell, because I saw it when I was very little, but after being afraid it taught me how to overcome my fears by facing them constantly until you get used to them.
I am watching this Anime since I am 15 years old and it taught me so much over the years. But the most important lesson I've learned from this Anime is:
Never give up!
Obviously one of the most popular cartoons which is full of references to books, philosophers, scientists and many more easter eggs which I am even after 20 years of watching still slowly have to discover. There are so many hints to these easter eggs which I can only understand by reading books and watching movies to understand these thousands of hidden references.
Why even playing any game? It is not about playing a game per se. It is about experiencing stories in any form like books, movies, games or simply just good stories told by friends or colleagues. People simply enjoy good stories. We are made for this!
Don't ever just operate blindly on an everyday basis. Leave space to surprise yourself and others. This will help to grow personally, to meet new people, learn new skills and gain information which you usually won't get by doing the same stuff everyday like a robot.
